1. Introduction

Welcome to Shift Ready. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and any contractual relationship with Shift Ready. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Shift Ready is a recruitment agency based in London, UK, providing staffing and recruitment solutions to employers and job seekers.

 

2. Definitions

In these Terms:

  • “Client” refers to any company, organisation, or individual who engages Shift Ready to source candidates.

  • “Candidate” refers to any person introduced by Shift Ready to a Client.

  • “Engagement” means the employment, hire, or use of a Candidate, directly or indirectly, by a Client.

  • “Introduction” means the provision of a Candidate’s details to a Client, whether in writing, verbally, or via other communication methods.

3. Services Provided

Shift Ready offers:

  • Permanent recruitment services

  • Temporary and contract staffing

  • Candidate screening and shortlisting

  • Employer and job seeker support

All services are subject to the terms set out in these Terms & Conditions, relevant contracts, and any specific agreements made in writing between Shift Ready and the Client.

 

4. Candidate Introductions

  • All Candidate introductions are confidential. Clients must not share Candidate details with third parties without written consent from Shift Ready.

  • If a Client introduces a Candidate to a third party and the Candidate is engaged within 12 months, the Client will be liable for the applicable recruitment fee.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate job descriptions, requirements, and relevant information for the recruitment process.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws when engaging Candidates.

  • Pay all fees in accordance with agreed payment terms.

6. Candidate Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and truthful information regarding qualifications, experience, and eligibility to work in the UK.

  • Attend scheduled interviews and assessments.

  • Notify Shift Ready immediately of any changes to contact details or employment status.

7. Fees & Payment Terms

  • All recruitment fees will be agreed in writing before services commence.

  • Invoices are payable within 14 days of the Candidate’s start date unless otherwise agreed.

  • Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

8. Temporary and Contract Assignments

Where Shift Ready supplies temporary or contract workers:

  • The Client is responsible for providing a safe working environment.

  • The Client must comply with all relevant health and safety legislation.

  • Any overtime, additional hours, or changes in assignment length must be agreed in advance.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

  • If a Candidate leaves employment within an agreed guarantee period, a partial refund or replacement Candidate may be offered in line with the refund policy provided at the time of engagement.

  • No refund will be made if termination results from redundancy, company closure, or any reason outside Shift Ready’s control.

10. Liability

  • Shift Ready will not be liable for any loss, damage, or expenses incurred by the Client or Candidate arising from the introduction or engagement process, except where caused by our negligence.

  • We do not guarantee the suitability, performance, or continued employment of any Candidate.

11. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • All personal data will be processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

12. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate services by providing written notice, subject to any existing contractual obligations.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
